The information and resources gathered on this blog are the result of several years of genealogy research into my own ancestors. Most of them lived in Spanish Florida and the Southern United States colonies. So naturally, this blogs content will focus mostly on those geographic areas. There will; however, be plenty of posts that aren't place specific but will still focus on finding the ancestors of the African diaspora within and outside the United States. Since my goal is to help others with their research, details about my ancestors and their lives will only be mentioned here as research examples.
